Lori Goes West: A Tale of Connection, Cows, and a World Reopening

Lori Goes West: A Tale of Connection, Cows, and a World Reopening

In October, Lori Feinberg, our fearless leader in client relations, packed her bags and headed west for a whirlwind trip that took her to Southern California. Her journey wasn’t just about business—it was about connection, community, and even a few unexpected animal encounters.

But first, she made a pitstop at a very special party.

A Party for a Cause

Lori joined our co-founder Jason at Will Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party in Chicago, a lively event benefiting Cancer for College. As a longtime supporter of charitable causes and board member of various charity organizations, Lori felt right at home, blending her passion for giving back with her knack for connecting with people.

While the beats were pumping, Lori and Jason were making new connections, turning the dance floor into a networking opportunity like no other. Events like this aren’t just fun; they’re gateways to meeting incredible people and building meaningful relationships.

From the Midwest to the West Coast

Next stop? Los Angeles. Lori had been invited by the ACLU of Southern California to their Bill of Rights Awards, where the stars shone brightly. We were honored to provide some of the event’s standout merchandise: sweatshirts, hats, and bottles. Lori spent hours meticulously arranging the event’s tables, ensuring every detail was perfect—a true testament to how much we value our partnerships.

Hugs, Healing, and Gentle Barn Cows

While in California, Lori visited one of our other beloved clients, Gentle Barn, an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals. It’s not every day you see client visits involve hugging cows, but for Lori, it was just another way to connect on a deeper level. Gentle Barn’s mission aligns closely with our values, and spending time with their team—and their furry residents—was a reminder of why personal connections matter so much, especially in a post-pandemic world.

Covid Did a Number on Us, But, We’re Back!

Psychologists have been studying the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our social behavior, noting that isolation made us less inclined to seek out personal connections. A 2023 study from The American Psychological Association revealed the importance of conversations on our well-being. After Covid, many of us are still relearning the art of face-to-face interaction. Lori’s journey reminded us how vital these connections are—not just for business, but for our well-being.

Rebuilding Relationships in 2025

As we prepare to welcome 2025, we’re embracing a new era of personal interaction. At TVP NYC, we’ve always valued the relationships we’ve built with our clients, but this year, we’re taking it further. Whether it’s a call every couple of weeks or an in-person visit, we’re committed to meeting our clients where they are—sometimes literally.

Lori’s West Coast adventure wasn’t just about attending events or delivering merchandise; it was about embodying our mission of connection. After years of screens and virtual meetings, the world is finally reopening, and so are we.

Here’s to more hugs, handshakes, and heartfelt conversations in 2025—and maybe even a cow or two along the way.

Where Next?

Whether it’s a party in Chicago or a cow-hugging session in California, every interaction counts. At TVP NYC, we’re not just in the business of swag; we’re in the business of building relationships that last. And we can’t wait to see where the journey takes us next.
